Every day is Homemade Bread Day for us at Garcia Bread Co. 🙌

What we do everyday:

Uniquely flavored artisan and quick breads featuring sustainable local ingredients supporting our farm-to-fork capital 

 We believe in supporting a sustainable system at a competitive price selling directly to the consumer emphasizing the use of local home-grown products resulting in all natural breads

 Our intent is to provide the community with healthy, sustainable, homemade breads using locally grown ingredients available in a variety of unique flavors with no added saturated fats or sugars. All of our breads are sweetened with local fruits and honey. 

 Today, in the Garcia Home Bakery, we focused on our Pepper Cilantro Cornbread: This unique cornbread features fresh chili peppers and hand picked cilantro with fresh cream style corn keeping bread moist and delicious without adding extra fat.  This sassy sweet and spicy combo is a healthy indulgence you can enjoy all year long 
We added it to our family dinner table tonight 🍽

 Cornbread is the perfect accompaniment to your Thanksgiving table as it is finishing out it's season and it's a common staple on Thanksgiving in many other dishes as well.

What is a Fluffernutter?? A Fluffernutter is basically a peanut butter and marshmallow cream ( fluff ) sandwich 🥜🍞 If you've never had one.....you should.....just to try, they're delicious but filling and full of sugar thanks to the highly processed marshmallow creme.  At Garcia Bread Co ., we don't have a Fluffernutter flavor so we're going to celebrate with our new addition to our family:  Banana Peanut Butter Chip   🍌🥜available in loaf, muffin, or baked donut form 🙌👏: A unique combination of fresh bananas and sweet and salty creamy peanut butter chips all throughout the batter. This is so decadent it feels like a treat or dessert but is so nutritious it can be enjoyed as a quick breakfast any day of the week.  And, remember.....all of our products have no added sugar (sweetened with applesauce and honey ) and no added saturated fats (a small amount of sunflower oil which is rich in vitamins ....especially E , and antioxidants to stay moist and flavor...

I MADE IT!

I did it!! 20 Day Challenge is successfully completed!!! Here is what I learned from this experience: You can do ANYTHING for 20 days! Eating real, whole foods all the time keeps you satisfied with more energy and feeling better about yourself. It forced me to eat better and be creative in getting the best nutrition into my body it gave me new, healthy recipes that I didn't know existed I will do this again....maybe a few times a year I am proud of myself 👏 While I am excited I completed the challenge, I will need to be careful in introducing certain foods back into my diet; sugars, etc.... I know I am going to limit my fried and processed foods if at all.......no real benefits to them.....with that said.....Where are the jelly beans????  If you know me, you know I love my Easter candy.....in moderation people....in moderation 🙌                                     ...
