This is one of my favorite fruits and according to Medical News Today, the most widely consumed fruit in the world. It is so versatile and can be used in many different ways or just eaten by itself......Let's talk about some of the benefits of this simple but sweet fruit:

  • They are rich in potassium and fiber which helps to regulate blood pressure
  • Good source of Vitamin C which is an antioxidant that helps fight free radicals 
  • Consuming bananas on a daily basis can increase your potassium and Vitamin C levels which along with a low sodium diet can help fight cardiovascular disease and keep your heart healthy
  • They are part of what's known as the BRAT diet: bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast which is part of a bland diet that helps combat some digestive issues
In my opinion, just like the apple.....eating a banana a day, helps keep the doctor away......and the perfect way to get enjoy your bananas is by eating my BANANA BLUEBERRY BREADA perfect  choice featuring fresh blueberries and ripe bananas (both containing antioxidant qualities) making for a sweet, moist bread.......Miss.
